Thracian Lowland, Bulgaria
Wine made from the early ripening Melnik vine variety with 25 days maceration and 12 months aging in new French oak barrels. It is a Unique Bulgarian variety, selected in the 70's of the 20th century. Grows only in the region of the Struma River.
Very different and interesting dry wine with wonderful deep ruby color. Intense cherry and black fruits aromas, with hints of vanilla and sweet spices. The taste is harmonious with pronounced varietal characteristics.
Cold cuts, red meat dishes, game and cheeses.
